Green Gabion

Green Gabion is an environmentally friendly trapezoidal gabion type designed for erosion control along rivers, shorelines, and streambanks. These gabions effectively slow water velocities, trap sediment, and create favorable conditions for plant growth. Made of PVC coated wire mesh baskets with an inclined face of 45° or 60°, lined with a durable coconut fiber blanket, and filled with a mixture of stone and topsoil, Green Gabions offer immediate and long-term erosion control.

The 1000 gr/m2 heavy coconut mat provides a 3 to 5-year durability, allowing for successful vegetation establishment. This elliptical gabion, constructed from PVC coated double twisted hexagonal steel wire mesh, offers stability, erosion control, and a reliable medium for vegetation growth.
