Our Effluent Wedge Wire Screening Systems utilize a cylindrical drum constructed of wedge wire screen to effectively remove solid materials from waste streams. With capacities ranging from 200 to 4,650 gal/min (757 to 17,600 liter/min), our screening systems are highly efficient.
The effluent discharges from a head box, overflows a dam, and flows onto the outside of the rotating cylinder. This allows water to pass through the wedge wire into the cylinder, while sludge and debris collected on the outside of the cylinder are scraped off by a doctor blade. Additionally, an internal spray line is included to dislodge particles that may blind the screen.
Our variable speed machines are equipped with wedge wire screens in a range of seven orifice sizes, from 0.010 to 0.100 in (0.25 to 2.54 mm). This ensures versatility and adaptability to various needs.
