Also known as wire wrap screen, the Continuous Slot Water Well Screen is designed for wells in shallow, productive aquifers. It offers excellent water production and minimal frictional head loss due to its small slot size and sufficient open area.
Manufactured by Anping County Xinlu Wire Mesh Products Co., Ltd., the Continuous Slot Water Well Screen is made by wrapping a shaped wire around longitudinal rods, which are joined by resistance welding. The screen sections are typically twenty feet long.
To ensure durability and prevent accelerated corrosion, the Continuous Slot Water Well Screen is primarily manufactured from stainless steel rather than carbon steel.
