It is manufactured using automated, precision machinery and equipment that ensures accurate processing and welding. The gabion undergoes various processes such as electro-galvanization, hot dip galvanization, coating, dip, or Galfan treatment to enhance its surface passivation and provide plastic processing.
The Welded Gabion is assembled by forming the front and rear panels, floor, and partitions. It is then compressed and packaged together with a network cover using spiral binding wire. Each gabion is an independent entity and should be stored in a dry environment to maintain its quality.
Field installation of our Welded Gabion is quick and easy. In fact, it can be installed up to 40% faster than hexagonal gabions. The gabion can be filled with standard loading equipment once diaphragms and stiffeners are installed. After filling, a lid is placed on top and secured with spiral binders, lacing wire, or "C" rings.
