The profile wire wrapped sand control screen pipe is constructed by wrapping a cylindrical profile wire around longitudinally placed support rods. Each point of contact between the wires and rods is resistance welded, ensuring a strong and durable screen.
With a wide range of profile wire and support rod combinations, as well as various aperture sizes, we can design a screen that meets your technical or aesthetic specifications.
V-Shaped Slots: The openings of the screen are shaped like a "v" and open towards the inside of the well. This design allows particles that are slightly smaller than the width of the slot to pass through. In screens with other opening shapes, these particles would get trapped and cause clogging.
Continuous Slots: Our special design ensures continuous slot openings across the periphery and length of the screen. This allows for efficient water flow and prevents clogging.
Non-Clogging Slots: The V-shaped wire profile creates inwardly widening slots that do not allow sand particles to get stuck inside. As a result, these screens are non-clogging, ensuring the long-term efficiency of the tube well.
Very Large % Open Area: Our design provides a significantly higher percentage of open area compared to conventional slotted pipes. This allows for increased water entry with minimal frictional head loss, improving the efficiency of the tube well.
Better Sand Filtration: Our specialized manufacturing process allows for a wide range of slot openings, down to 0.15 mm. This enables proper slot selection based on the size of sand in a specific area, resulting in better sand control, reduced pump maintenance, and extended tube well life.
