They are made of SS "V" shaped profile wire, which is fusion welded into support rods. The profile wire is wound around the support rods, creating a continuous slot opening. This results in a perfectly flat and smooth surface with rectangular openings, also known as SS wedge wire screens, SS wedge profile wire screen cylinders, or SS wedge cylindrical screens.
