3. Minimized Pump Abrasion: The high open area ensures a slower groundwater entry speed compared to other filtration devices, significantly lowering the risk of sand ingress due to high pressure and thereby minimizing pump abrasion.
Under identical conditions, the high open area design allows groundwater to enter the screen at a much slower rate, preventing sand from entering the screen and reducing pump wear.
